I'm Not Reclusive

The press has been raking me over the coals lately. Ever since I left the hero game, they have been calling me the reclusive billionaire, comparing me to Howard Hughes. Some of the less reputable papers have stooped to calling me a coward and saying that I'm no longer patriotic.

It drives me nuts, because nothing could be further from the truth. I'm not some eccentric, obsessive-compulsive, germaphobe and I'm certainly no coward! I am a very focused man with a passion for what I'm doing. Nothing cuts me deeper than when some one questions my patriotism.

I have great concern for the war and what is going on with it. I also realize that if the Nazis were to find out what we are doing here in the bowels of my
Montana home, everyone involved with this project would be in danger, that's why I have gone to great lengths to keep this project a secret.

When this project is finished, and our first mission with the Thunder 7 is complete; If the
Western Alliance is willing to officially recognize the sacrifice that Jack made and the war effort still needs me, I will fight again. I do not want those goose steppers to win, I still believe in the alliance.
